Code: c631 Provenience: Arenas Mine, Arenas, Carbonia-Iglesias prov., Sardinia, Italy Width: 85 mm Height: 170 mm Depth: 60 mm Weight: 1030 grams A very nice sample personally collected in the tail landfill of the Arenas mine (closed during the 2nd half of the ‘70s) in 1972. It consists in a quartz/oxidated lead ore matrix supporting many 3-6 mm Aurichalcite tufts scattered on a 10x5 cm surface. The natural colour is a bright sky blue contrasting with the darker colour of the matrix. |
