An exceptional small specimen from Muscadroxiu, mined during 1972. It consists in a massive fluorite matrix supporting an undamaged, sharply edged 8.5x3x2.5 cm Barite and a cluster of Calcite crystals up to 1.5 cm. Both Barite and Calcite fluoresce under long and mid wavelength U.V. light. The U.V. pictures have been taken using a 312 nm source. |
